MTLI Workshop Proposals
Any topic that is timely and relevant, has valuable educational content, imparts helpful lessons learned, or shares tested and proven best practices is welcome. Workshops should be educational, interactive, and may be tutorial. No workshop should have more than two speakers from any one organization, and no workshop may become an advertisement or promote individual company interests. Applicants should provide a brief description of the workshop (1,000 words or less). Please include a working title and proposed or possible speakers. Do not invite your proposed speakers until after you receive notification from MTLI about workshop acceptance.
Timeline and review process
Applications will only be accepted on-line on a rolling-basis. We expect to receive more applications than we are actually able to accommodate. AdvaMed member companies are given preference for reviews, but quality is our top priority.
Notifications will be sent via e-mail. Applicants will receive one of the following types of notifications:
- Your workshop has been accepted as is.
- Your workshop has been accepted with recommendations from our program planning committee to revise the topic or include a particular speaker.
- We received more than one workshop application on the topic you have proposed. Your workshop has been accepted, but we would like to combine it with another proposal. Please work with applicant (name and contact detail provided) for this workshop.
- Your panel or workshop application was not accepted.
If your workshop is accepted
The main contact for the workshop is responsible for the following:
- Provide finalized title and description of the panel or workshop to MTLI for publication on-line and in print (Deadline will be 10 weeks prior to the actual workshop date.)
- Invite and confirm the proposed speakers
- Submit the full contact details of confirmed speakers to MTLI. (Deadline will be 10 weeks prior to the actual workshop date.)
