Q. What is MTLI?
- The Medical Technology Learning Institute provides regulatory, technical and professional training to officials in the medical device industry to enable them to comply with the FDA/CMS regulatory requirements associated with the manufacture, marketing, distribution of and payment for medical devices.
Q. How do I register for a seminar? What is the payment method?
- AdvaMed/MTLI accepts on-line registrations and payment is by credit card only.
Q. What is the cancellation policy? Substitution policy?
- All meeting cancellations must be received in writing. You may fax a cancellation notice to 202/783-8750, attention Katia Kunze, or send an email to kkunze@advamed.org. All cancellations received more than two weeks prior to the program are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received two weeks prior to the program including "no shows". Substitutions are accepted in writing at any time. Please provide AdvaMed with the substitute's name, title, e-mail and contact information.
Q. Are there discounts for AdvaMed Members?
- Yes. However, in order to receive the Member and EGC rates, your company or parent company must be an active member of AdvaMed. The Government rate is open to Government employees and members of Academia with current credentials.
Q. How do I know if my company is an AdvaMed Member?
- It is the responsibility of each registrant to verify whether their company or parent company is an AdvaMed member. Member discounts will not be processed retroactively. To verify if your company is a member, please visit the AdvaMed Member Directory and scroll to the locate your company
Q. What if I register less than 10 days in advance of the seminar?
- Please be advised that any registrations received less that 10 days in advance of the seminar will not appear on the participants roster. It is MTLI policy not to release revised participants rosters after the seminar.
Q. Are there Group Discounts?
- For group registrations of two or more attendees from the same company, please contact Katia Kunze prior to registration. You must contact Katia Kunze before you register in order to receive the discounted price. Group discounts will not be processed retroactively.
Q. What do I wear to a seminar?
- Dress is business casual. It is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket, as the temperature in the conference rooms may be cold.
Q. Are meals (breakfast and lunch) included?
- AdvaMed provides a continental breakfast as well as a lunch (usually sandwiches).
Q. What if I have dietary restrictions, can I order a special meal (i.e. kosher or vegetarian) ahead of time?
- Yes, please send an e-mail to kkunze@advamed.org as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made.
Q. Do we receive any proof of training?
- Yes, MTLI provides all attendees with a certificate.
